Collages

We have been in love with collages lately.  So fun!
Collages allow us to fill big or wide spaces and make them look full but not over done.
Here are a couple of our recent fav's that we have done for clients.
Call us if you have a wall that needs some help in your home.
We love mixing different elements, colors, and textures. Some shiny, some bright, some dull, and dark! Skies the limit!

Just a side note:  Really elegant table setting with apples-
We can decorate your home for ANY party or holiday!!

Sherman Doctor's Office

This was a complete renovation of a dated dental office.  The entire office was gutted and made new again. As you look at the before you will notice a blue outlined square.  This was the most appalling thing we have ever seen in a dental office or any office for that matter!  You can't miss it. We are sure none of the patients did either.  Yeah, that's right a NOOSE hanging in the reception area for all to see. He needed help and we were there to give it.

The sterilization center and client files were in the middle of the reception area.  Clients had to view everything that was being sterilized as they went to the op's.
We moved the sterilization center into it's own room.  Custom cabinets, in a medium grey tone, gave it more clean appearance.  Custom cabinets were put in throughout, with a special built in in the reception area for more storage and organization.  We moved the client files into their own room and out of the middle of the reception area as well. The barn door was a fun addition that allowed us to take away the doors that infringed on needed space. This was a big project that turned out beautifully and is more functional and esthetically pleasing for the doctor, staff, and patients.

Guest Bedroom

Guest bedroom
We neglected to get before pictures of this space, which makes us very sad.  This was quite the transformation.  Let's see if we can describe it for you.  Imagine entering a room that is filled nearly full of old furniture, bookcases, books everywhere, and a desk and three chairs that fill and cover one entire wall, and it's a TINY room! We definitely, had to step carefully within the narrow walkway. Now that you have a picture in your mind here's the end result...
We removed the old white carpet and replaced it with a nice berber, repainted the violet walls a neutral, and added some new furniture.   The client has tons of grandkids that are always staying over, so we choose to put a bunk bed with a trundle in the room.  The white looks so great against the wall color.
Love the neutral pillows and bedding with the walls. Any room should have a splash of zebra print somewhere!!

Holiday Retreat at Home

Before:

After:
The client wanted a resort feel at home. We started with the amazing hand carved screen and the artwork as the inspiration for the overall feel for the room.  The screen sets the whole mood for the space.  It was easy to install too.  From there we added some rich colors to the walls and new carpeting.  All of which brought in a sense of calm. We moved the TV from in the middle of the walk way and mounted it on a wall above a console so it was out of the way but easy to view.  We removed some unusable bi-fold closet doors and replaced them with linen curtains for easy closure when needed. With some accessories, tropical colors, and artwork purchased by the client in Hawaii, the room became a master retreat where the clients can always have a feeling of being on vacation. (Two of my most favorite things in the entire space is: the lobster pillows and the hand painted artwork above the tub, done by an 11 year old. Love em!!!!)

Romantic Bedroom

The walls were a taupe/peachy color.  The room was boring
and lacked finish.

The oversized chair was pushed up into the corner and didn't fit in that
space well.

After:
We painted the entire room and ceiling a light grey hue to soften the room.
We then added an amazing panel of fabric behind the bed as the focal point to the room.
It adds a dramatic, romantic feeling and also draws the eye upward, making the room seem
taller.  The lines in the bed linens and pillows mimic the those in the panel treatment as well. We changed the lamp shades so that that we weren't matching. Unfortunately, nothing could be done about the
blinds but the color adds some contrast at least.  We liked the black end tables at the footboard and choose to leave them. All the existing furniture was reused but now has a more modern and sleek look.

We spray painted the black wrought iron artwork with a shiny silver, thus updating it and making
it much more modern.  The chair was moved to a more appropriate place and now functions better within the space.

Mckinney Client

This client was preparing to move and wanted to stage her home, as well as, update some of her older furniture.  These chairs were solid and well constructed.  We decided to recover them to add a focal point in her office.

The chair turned out wonderfully!  It's modern, and bright and works well with everything we added in her office.

We added a few other green items to her bookshelves and organized them into a nice clean look.

The client had a dark and stairway in the entrance of her home.  We decided to paint the risers.  The end result gave the area a a lighter feel.

Quick Bedroom Update

Our client wanted to update and freshen up her bedroom.

We did this by adding bright, handmade colored pillows and
custom made duvet cover.  Next, we'll work on pulling the
look together with some artwork.

Home Office

This office was cluttered and not put together.
Things didn't have a home or place to be organized in.

After

Living Room Redo

When we started this project the room was filled with too much heavy, big furniture.  The flow of the room was being blocked by the couch and sofa table.

Before

Here is the design board that we came up with for the space.  We changed the floor plan and colors of the room.

After
The sofa will be recovered in the future to bring in more of the neutral color in our scheme, along with the brown arm chairs.

Garland Dental Office

This is a doctor's office we have been working on.  We took down the old wall paper, glass partitions at the front desk and remolded one of the two bathrooms.  The Dr. wanted to update the office while keeping in mind that the practice will be moving to a new location within the next year or two.  The bathroom was in need of the most attention.
